Jon King Passes Away at 55

My friend and colleague Jon King, editor for JOHNNIE BE GOOD, died Saturday at age 55. Jon and I had worked together at KSDK-TV for 31 years and had worked on two documentaries together. He had been involved with JOHNNIE BE GOOD since we started the project in 2003.

This is the second death for JBG personnel in fifteen months. George Hickenlooper had been executive producer for the film for five years before his untimely death in October 2010. George and Jon were the two people I was counting on the most as JBG nears completion, so this is another sad day for the film. But I know George and Jon would want to see the film completed and that’s what I intend to do. Rest in peace, Jon.
