What else is up? Friends of “Johnnie Be Good” are stepping up to help. This weekend, Maureen Missimore is hosting a private fundraiser. Thanks, Maureen. Several weeks ago Pam Rudolph hosted a fundraiser at “Boogies” in Maryville, IL. Thanks, to you too, Pam. Several other people have scheduled fundraisers for the doc in the first quarter of 2008. Kelley Hunt, a longtime friend of Johnnie’s has offered to perform at a benefit concert and we’re looking at dates and venues. Big thanks to everyone who’s joining Team Johnnie. At the moment, it’s all good.Here’s my game plan. For the next several months I’ll be writing and producing the 150-plus hours of material I’ve accumulated. Then my editor Jon King and I will put together a rough cut. There’s a handful of interviews to conduct, but most of the shooting has been completed.
