The Missouri Arts Council has approved a $1700 grant to be used for the production of JOHNNIE BE GOOD. This grant will pay for graphics artwork to be used at the end of the documentary.
The grant will also fund a trip to LA later this month to interview Dick Alen of the William Morris Agency. Alen is the longtime booking agent for rock and roll superstar Chuck Berry. Producing, writing, and editing continue on the film. The first edit should be completed this summer. 800 people have signed up for the new Facebook page, JOHNNIE BE GOOD THE MOVIE. http://www.facebook.com/JohnnieBeGoodTheMovie
